Qatar Meat Production Co. is a part of the IPDC group of companies, which was established in Qatar in the early 1960’s. Commissioned in January 2016 and equipped with the most modern food processing machinery from Europe, UK and the US, Qatar Meat Production Co. strives hard to make a
remarkable difference in the processed meat industry within the Middle East. Our facility has the capability to produce in excess of 3,000 tons annually, thus providing adequate capacity for exports. As Qatar is centrally located in the Arabian Gulf, we are in close proximity to regional markets with our port facility in Doha enabling us to export by ocean freight to any part of the world. Our staff are handpicked from within the industry and have years of experience in food safety, hygiene, recipe formulation and process flows.
Apart from the many activities associated with infrastructure development, real estate management, oil and gas services, and numerous other commercial and manufacturing activities in the food industry within Qatar and the region, the group has diversified into food production and cultivation also, which currently comprises of Agrico Agricultural Development Co. and Qatar Meat Production Co. The group is currently involved with numerous other food manufacturing projects which are in various stages of development, and are firmly aligned with the 2030 Government vision on food securities.
